I feel so privileged to be joining volunteers travelling to Nakuru, Kenya in May 2025 to spend time volunteering in a local school supporting children and their families.

As a teacher, I know the difference education can make, academically, emotionally, socially. It also helps shape future careers and lives. All children around the world deserve this. I want to give my time and hard work to help underprivileged children in Africa. I want to give back.

In partnership with Derby County Community Trust, we will work in schools who provide a free education for children from underprivileged backgrounds.

Working in a range of roles from teaching, building and renovation, i cannot wait to make a difference and learn so much about the wider world.
