As I begin my sixteenth year at Public Counsel, I have the continued privilege of serving as Vice President & Chief Development Officer. Along with our extraordinary development team, I have the responsibility of raising the much needed funds to support our eight legal projects and over 165 attorneys, paralegals, social workers, and support staff. Our mission is simple: we are a nonprofit public interest law firm working with communities and clients to create a more just society through legal services, advocacy, and civil rights litigation.

We assist historically underserved populations such as veterans, foster youth, our unhoused neighbors, and immigrants to ensure that they have access to education, employment, housing, public benefits, legal residency, and much more.
