Story

Thank you so much to everyone who has donated so far :)

It was such a special challenge and personal one too and I really do appreciate everyone who has written amazing messages and paid tribute to dad in such lovely ways.

I will be leaving this page open till the end of July in hopes we can reach that lofty target I set of £9000 as I know how valued the service St Michael's gives to patients and their families. So thank you again :)

Soon after being diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in August 2023, my dad and I did some filming on e bikes for an upcoming film called Chasing the Sun. Sadly dad died before the film was released.

He spent the last 3 weeks of his life at St Michael's hospice and I will be forever grateful for everyone there who made the best of those tough last few days. The help and support we had was amazing.

I want to do dad proud by riding my bike the furthest I have ever done in one day and at the same time try to raise enough money to pay for the running of the inpatient unit at Hereford hospice for one day ( £9000)

Chasing the Sun is a 205 mile bike ride across the south of the UK on the longest day of the year June 22nd 2024 and the challenge is to complete the ride in the hours of daylight :)

I will be joined by friends Sophie, Stefan and Katy as I take on a challenge that I know will test my endurance and resilience but knowing Dad will be with me all the way I hope we can make it :)
