Story

Hi everyone thank you for coming to our page.

We are organising a memorial football match to remember and honour our wonderful daughter / wife/mother / sister…and friend to so many, Lynne Crichton Mcmillan.

Lynne was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer back in 2020 called Transitional Cell Carcinoma.

Lynne faced a harsh, terrifying and daunting treatment plan to fight this terrible disease, firstly coming to terms with the shock diagnosis then having to have her kidney removed, followed by several rounds of intensive chemotherapy and radiotherapy… all to no avail.

The roller coaster of emotions along the way for Lynne and all of us as a family was heartbreaking. During Lynne's fight with this terrible disease she kept her wit, sense of humour and strength which in turn lifted all of our spirits , one things for sure we still knew each day who the boss was !

Tragically on 10th November 2022 she passed away having to leave her two beautiful daughters kayla 19 and kara 17 behind to face the world without their mum.

A year on We are here today to remember Lynne and her way of life, the fun loving and caring person that she always was, taking part in one of her life's great passions.....Football.

Lynne received excellent care from her Marie Curie pallative care team as did we as a family and for that reason we want to raise as much as possible for others that may have to face a cancer diagnosis in the future. If raising this money can help the Marie Curie Pallative care team continue to provide the care Lynne received , we will be happy to know other families will benefit from this organisation as much as Lynne did.

We now ask you support us in our journey and to remember Lynne while doing so, she will be looking down with a smile that could brighten up a room and we want you to come celebrate her life and feel the love we have for her on the 11th November.

Lets do this for Lynne. Xxx
