Story

We Tracey, Leigh-Ann, Kyle, Joshua, Gary joined #teamHospice for this year's Belfast City Marathon 2024 to help support local people living with life-limiting illnesses and their families. We are running in loving memory of Esther Butler, mother, granny , great granny who will forever be in our hearts. Our goal is to raise funds for the NI Hospice Somerton Road, as a way of saying thank you for the exceptional care they provided to Esther. The compassion shown by the hospice staff towards our entire family has been truly remarkable.

The marathon route starts at Stormont Estate and covers all areas of the city, passing by numerous iconic landmarks. The support from local residents along the way is always incredibly uplifting. By participating in this marathon and supporting Hospice, we are ensuring that this vital organization can continue delivering specialist palliative care to those who need it most in our community.

We are fundraising for the cause 'Belfast Marathon 2024' with a target amount of £1,500. Your generous contribution will make a significant difference in helping us reach our goal and supporting Hospice's important work.

Please consider donating to our cause and helping us make a positive impact on the lives of individuals and families facing challenging circumstances. Together, we can provide comfort, care, and support when it matters most.
