Story

May 4th 2024 - MND Fundraising family day

Lee planned the last few years to help raise money and awareness for the awful disease but sadly lost his battle to MND last year.

Not only is this about Lee but our superhero John woods who struggles everyday but always has a smile on his face and as Lee would say he is taking MND the full ten rounds. And Johns famous hashtag #fuckmnd.

These guys show how much strength and positivity can make so much of a difference and having family and friends behind them supporting them all the way makes a huge impact.

We are all so so proud of them.

This year Sammy, Andrew and myself want to make this the biggest one so far.

The challenge is to do Rome (where we got engaged) to Cyprus (Lee’s happy place) which is 1220 miles. This is just under 125 times round Gratham water.

Also I am finding out if we will have the usually cake stand, raffle but also hopefully so other bits to but need to check what we can/can’t do.

We need as many people to come and help support this amazing event, so please get family and friends to join in.

Bring picnic blankets/chairs et.. and will make this a fun family day.

Will hopefully get around 8 bikes donated to use and a couple of rows.
