Story
Alzheimer’s Society is transforming the landscape of dementia forever.
Until the day we find a cure, we will create a society where those affected by dementia are supported and accepted, able to live in their community without fear or prejudice.
Because I’ll be celebrating my 60th birthday in March, I’m going to challenge myself to write and post, 60 poems relating to ‘memory’ - one each day - from 11th January. I hope the poems resonate with those who have experienced dementia and help highlight the disease with those who have not.
Please help to support research into this disease that destroys so many lives, not least my mum and my late mum-in-law.
Suggested ideas for poems are welcome including personal memories if anyone should like one for their loved one (contact me with notes).
