Story
For Fabian
Recently, our school community was deeply affected by the news that one of our youngest pupils, Fabian Morley, has been diagnosed with Burkitt Lymphoma, a form of non-Hodgkin's lymphoma. Fabian, who is in Pre-School, is currently undergoing intensive chemotherapy treatment at Alder Hey.
The care and dedication of the doctors and nurses in Ward 3B at Alder Hey have been nothing short of remarkable, and Fabian’s family has expressed immense gratitude for their support.
To help us achieve our fundraising goal, Mr. Southward, our P.E. teacher, has volunteered to take on a formidable challenge:
A Message from Mr. Southward
"I am excited to announce that on September 15th, I will be participating in the Ironman 70.3 event in Weymouth. This demanding triathlon includes a 1.9km swim, a 90km bike ride, and a 21km run. Although I have experience as a short-distance swimmer, the cycling and running segments present new challenges, and I have been diligently training for them. This event represents more than just a personal challenge; it is an opportunity to support a cause that means a great deal to our Tower College community.
