We help older people and disabled adults to connect & be active in their local area

Story

Following the great success of our cycle tour last year, we are delighted and excited to announce the Tour de Barchester is back again for a thrid year!

This year the cycle will take place over 4 days from 18th to 21st June and we will be visiting several of our care homes along the route, all of which will be participating in the fundraising too.

The route this year will commence in Johnstown; Carmathan and finish in Wallingford; Oxfordshire.

The cycle ride will be in aid of Barchester’s Charitable Foundation which helps older people to engage with their local community and we want to raise as much money for this great cause as possible.

It is important to us that the ride recognises all our amazing people at Barchester Healthcare who work tirelessly to keep our residents, patients and each other safe.

Please show us your support by giving generously.

Thank you

Simon McCall, Shona Conway, Lucy Green

About the charity

Barchester’s Charitable Foundation is a registered charity that helps older people as well as working age adults with a learning or physical disability or mental health issue across England, Scotland & Wales. Our focus is about connecting or re-connecting people with others in their local community. We give grants to help reduce isolation and loneliness, promote group activities and generally improve people’s mobility and quality of life. We aim to give grants that will help people lead more fulfilled lives and reach their full potential.
