Story
I've been in remission since 2019, just over 5 years I've never given up hope that there will be a permanent cure for hairy cell leukaemia and for all cancers,
I've done various fund raising for charity events but still I felt I needed to do more,
One day my dad made a suggestion that we take on a challenge of walking 22 miles my dad has had a heart condition for over 30 plus years and has had multiple surgeries on his heart , it was his attitude of not giving up that gave me the encouragement to keep going and see what we can do help raise as much as possible for cancer, to help all see that that anything is possible with the right mind set and that we should never give up and keep strong
The 3rd of February is the day that will be out there collecting on the day as we walk our miles there will be an update on what route we are taking for anyone who wishes to support us and cheer us on
As we both walk to help for a better tomorrow for all those who's lives have been affected by cancer
The video gives an explanation on Hairy Cell Leukaemia and what it does
