Most of our family have served in the Armed Forces and have enjoyed the experience relatively unscathed. Several of us carry physical injuries, requiring joint replacements and Geoff struggled with complex PTSD. It is what it is, but every day, men and women have to leave their career in the Armed Forces as a result of physical or psychological wounds.
