Story
I have raised funds and awareness of MND for several years and each year challenge myself to do something unique and difficult and this year is no different, I’m not Kevin Sinfield nor do I have a massive social media following BUT I do care and I think we need to keep raising awareness and funds for MND. So I’m ready for a new challenge, despite being unfit and not having done much on me bike I’ve decided to use up some of my annual leave days at work.
I’ll be cycling from Lords cricket ground - home of MCC to Twickenham, then To Brentford football club and up the Grand Union canal towpaths to Birmingham, to Tamworth, Coventry, Stoke Macclesfield Manchester and then round to Rochdale, Hebden Bridge, Brighouse, Wakefield and finally Leeds to Gargrave. Stopping at 61 football, cricket of rugby venues big or small to raise awareness for 3 special causes, why 61? I will be 61 in May so one venue for every year of my life.
A total of 400 miles in 5 days
It will be tough and painful but worth it if I can help others so please donate
Thank you
Tony
