Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Update, July 1st 2024

Well, we've only gone and done it. 4 days of hard walking, over 152k steps, and 74 miles. The weather was fabulous for all 4 days, which helped immensely. Everywhere we stayed, all the people were, friendly, hospitable, and were keen to give us support, and donate towards our great cause.

To everyone who has donated, thank you from the bottom of my heart. All donations have been greatly appreciated 👏

Update, November 2023.

When I first arranged this walk, Gloria was a great supporter of it, and she was all for us raising as much money as possible for St Benedict's Hospice. Unfortunately Gloria passed away in October, so this walk means a lot more to me and my fellow walkers and we will now be walking in memory of Gloria, as well as St Benedict's Hospice.

In March 2023, I had to quit my role at RE:GEN to become a full time carer for wife, Gloria. She suffers from restricted lung disease and everyday is a struggle for her. This year alone, she has been a regular visitor to hospital, due to her illness.

Following her last visit in hospital, back in June, she was told she didnt have long left to live, and subsequently, she was transferred to St Benedicts hospice in Ryhope.

After 4 weeks of treatment, Gloria was sent home with the best health she has had for a long time. The staff, and the work carried out at St Benedicts is second to none, and I cannot praise them enough for the work that they carry out to their patients. It is exemplary.

My way of saying thank you, is to try and raise as many donations as possible for St Benedicts, as they are a registered charity, so every little bit helps.

Myself, Steven Johnson, David Gibson, Matty Tomlinson, Tony Porter and Lee Phillips are planning to walk the Northumberland Coastal Route, from Cresswell to Berwick-on-Tweed, in June 2024. It is 62 miles long, and we are planning to complete it over 4 days.

Your donation will be very much appreciated, no matter how large or small. If there are any companies out there, that would be willing to donate £350, we will promote you on our social media feeds, as well as getting your company logo on t-shirts we will wear on our walk.

Thank you for taking the time to read this, and your support is very much appreciated.
