We are taking part in the 60 Miles in June Challenge for Tommy's because we want to help save babies' lives.

Tommy's is the UK's leading pregnancy charity funding vital medical research into miscarriage, preterm birth and stillbirth.

Me and the hubby fell pregnant for the first time following our 4th round of IVF. We have never been more happy than reading a positive blood test and seeing those words. At 6 weeks we had a little heartbeat, walking out smiling like a pair of morons! At 10 weeks, we went for another scan, to be told the baby no longer had a heartbeat, this moment and those words will forever be engrained in my brain. I miscarried physically a few days later.

No words can describe the pain in our hearts, but we instead try and remember the joy, the insanely happy feeling we had during those few weeks we were mum and dad. We want to raise awareness and pennies for research and maybe one day that 1 in 4 statistic will get much better. Because lets face it, thats a lot of woman and couples going through a lot of heartache.
