Fundraising for Tommy’s, the pregnancy and baby charity
I'm taking 8,000 Steps a Day in March to help Tommy's fund research into miscarriage, stillbirth and premature birth, to find the causes and treatments to save babies’ lives. 1 in 2 adults in the UK say they, or someone they know, have experienced pregnancy or baby loss. This 1 in 2 includes myself and friends who I hold very very close to my heart.
Tommys is a charity extremely close to my heart. Most of you know that Lew and I struggled massively suffering multiple miscarriages and having little to no answers as to why this was happening to us. We went through heartbreak after heartbreak, and without the support of Tommy’s midwives I’m not sure where we would have ended up. It was Tommys that pushed me to fight for the medication I knew I needed in order to carry a healthy pregnancy and thankfully in July 2024 we gave birth to our beautiful, miracle rainbow baby boy.
Without Tommy’s research I never would have had the facts to know that my body needed medication, and without Tommys research who knows where we would be now.
I would like to try and give a little back to an amazing charity that continue to do amazing work ensuring every pregnancy and birth is safe for everyone. Making sure that no parents have to hear the words “I’m sorry there is no heartbeat”
You all know I’m not one for exercise in any form, so please don’t make me walk for no reason, please donate whatever you are able to, to help an important charity keep doing important work.
Lots of love and thankyou xxx
