Story
Well, they’ve finally persuaded me to do this so on Saturday 28th September, I’ll be taking to the dance floor for ‘Ayrshire Does Strictly’ along with 7 other ‘celebrity’ businesspeople from across Ayrshire. We’ll be teaming up with professional dancers to win the prestigious Glitterball Trophy.
I’ve always been a big ‘Strictly’ fan and for anyone who knows me well enough I’m usually first on the dance floor or on top of a picnic table as soon as the music starts, but this is completely different and has already got my knees shaking!
For the last 4 years this event has always been a great night out to raise money for the Kilmarnock Community Sports Trust, a charity that uses football to run three key programmes to improve health, wellbeing and employment here in Ayrshire.
As my dad, Gerald, (Geraldo) was well known on the football pitch himself and also on the dance floor with my mum, (Sweet Caroline), their double act as ‘Fred & Ginger’ has inspired me to do the same.
So here I go everyone, this is going to be an entertaining night one way or another with Michelle McManus as your host for the evening. It’s time for sequins, spray tan, hairspray and heels and a judging panel to amuse you even more!
Please support us and this really great cause and just give whatever you can.
Thank you,
Toni x
