Story
I am running Lincoln 10k to raise money for Bliss, a charity that is really dear to my heart and has had a huge impact on me and my family.
My son Joseph was born 15 weeks early in 2018, weighing at his lowest 1lbs 7oz. Throughout his stays in hospital he has racked up close to 20 operations, but thankfully came through and is thriving.

Bliss supported us to ensure Joseph was in the correct school year for his real age group (he was born end of August but should have been December), alongside loads of other vital information and support during his time in NICU.
This is race 1 on a journey that will hopefully finish in a marathon in 2025, raising funds for this unbelievable charity/cause.
About Bliss
1 in every 7 babies born in the UK will need specialist care.
Bliss is the leading UK charity for babies born premature or sick. They rely on donations to fund their work, and without our help they won't be able to reach the 90,000 babies needing neonatal care each year.
Your donation to my page will help Bliss to drive improvements in neonatal care, to ensure that the needs of babies are at the heart of policy and planning for the future, and to provide information and support to all families with a baby born premature or sick.
