On Sunday September 10th 2023 I will be running The Great North Run on behalf of Saying Goodbye charity in honour of our late son Xavier Rand.

On the 26th October 2022 at our 36 week scan our world came crashing down when we were given the devastating news that our baby boy was extremely unwell.

2 weeks later, on Wednesday the 9th November 2022 Xavier was stillborn at 38 weeks old.

We carry the grief of losing our Son every day and have a huge emptiness in our family without him.

We miss him desperately and our hearts are broken.

It is incredibly important to us to acknowledge Xavier and to keep his memory alive in any way we can.

I am running for the Saying Goodbye charity as organisations such as this have given us a lifeline through this incredibly tough time and their support has been appreciated beyond words.
