Who Are Special Effect?

SpecialEffect enables severely disabled people to use technology in any way possible – using whichever part(s) of their body that work best – by adapting tech to their individual needs. It’s so important they can join in with family/ friends, to be includes and not left out. This can hugely benefit mental well-being, self-esteem and quality of life -and much needed FUN!

I play far too many videogames and you probably do too, but we all take for granted how easily accessible this source of joy is to us, which is why what Special Effect does is so important!

This will be my third time doing the GNR!

Last time I did it in 2 hours and 9 minutes and raised over £600.

This time I want to get in under the 2 hour mark and raise even more money!
