We're raising money for a local domestic abuse charity in Cheshire which is in desperate need of support. All of the information is below, our fundraiser through this race goes directly to them. Your help and support is so appreciated.

Domestic abuse has a huge impact on the lives and wellbeing of families, and keeping essential 24/7 services open, ran by specialist workers, is vital for local people.

The charity keeps people safe, helps them to flee, recover, and also has a team who work with people who cause the harm through behaviour change programmes so that they can change their behaviour.

We (Tom/Holly - brother and sister) were originally going to cheerlead our other brother and his colleague in running a marathon for their company charity, but decided to join him whilst over there, run the marathon ourselves to fundraise too for such an important cause.

Tom will be running the full marathon and Holly will be running the half marathon due to a knee injury (10k is hard currently but she is determined to power through on the day)

🚨 URGENT APPEAL: Help Save Life-Saving Domestic Abuse Services in Cheshire

In just 10 weeks, thousands of domestic abuse survivors and their children could lose their lifeline. After 47 years of serving our community, MyCWA (Cheshire Without Abuse) faces the closure of our Crewe support centre, vital support services, and Macclesfield store and community hub – all due to the complete withdrawal of council funding.
