Story

150 Miles Along the Grand Union: Walking to Beat Alzheimer's

This May, I'm taking on an 8-day challenge to walk the Grand Union Canal from Birmingham to London's Paddington Basin - that's 150 miles of towpaths, bridges, and British countryside. Starting May 3rd, 2025, I'll be following the historic waterway that once connected our industrial heartlands, all in support of Alzheimer's Research UK.

Every mile walked and every pound raised brings us closer to breakthrough treatments for dementia. Alzheimer's Research UK leads the fight against a condition that affects millions of families across the country. Their pioneering research is our best hope for a world where dementia no longer devastates lives.

Join me in making each step count. Your support will fuel both my journey and vital research that could transform lives.
