I'm privileged to be running the NYC marathon this year for Tina's Wish - a fantastic organization dedicated to saving women's lives (via early detection for ovarian cancer). I am running this race for my mother, sisters, aunts, and grandmothers and anyone who is having or has had a battle with ovarian cancer.

I've never really been a long-distance runner (I'm built for much shorter distances) so this is going to be painful!
