Hello everyone!

I'm thrilled to announce that I’ll be running the 2025 London Marathon to raise funds for an amazing organisation that’s close to my heart: Sycamore Trust U.K.

Sycamore Trust U.K. is a fantastic charity that supports children and young people with social and communication difficulties, empowering them and their families to thrive. They work tirelessly to make a real difference in the lives of young people who face unique challenges with communication, confidence, and self-esteem. I’m incredibly proud to be fundraising for them and can't wait to complete the marathon knowing I’m helping Sycamore continue their vital work.

What Sycamore Trust U.K. Does

Sycamore runs a unique and essential program to help children communicate by using visual aids. This program is a lifeline for children who find verbal communication challenging, as it helps them express themselves, engage with others, and navigate daily life with greater confidence and ease.

In addition, Sycamore Trust U.K. provides a summer outdoor camp every year that brings young people together in a supportive, fun environment. At camp, kids can form friendships, build self-esteem, and develop critical communication skills in a relaxed, enjoyable setting. For many of them, this is a rare and invaluable experience to connect with peers who understand their challenges.

Sycamore also runs a Life Skills Club, which is one of the most practical and impactful programs I’ve seen. Here, young people learn essential skills that will benefit them for life. From online safety and travel training to basic cooking, these are practical abilities that empower young people to gain independence and live confidently in an increasingly complex world.
