Story
My beautiful wife Nicola Evans died peacefully on Tuesday 13th June following a very short but extremely brave battle with bowel cancer. This page has been set up for those wishing to donate funds for Dove House Hospice who have supported and continue to support our family and many others in such difficult situations.
Nic was the centre of our world, my best friend and by my side throughout my adult life. She made me the luckiest man alive.
Her beautiful calmness and desire to experience life meant that she made many many friends. She gave so much to everyone and wanted nothing back in return. As a dedicated teacher Nic influenced and set so many young people off on their journey in life. Most of all she taught me more than she can ever imagine and gave me the confidence to do things I would never have done on my own. We brought two of the most amazing children into the world who make me proud every single day.
Nic was cared for by a team of unbelievably dedicated, compassionate and kind nursing staff on ward 31 at the Queens Centre for Oncology, Castle Hill for which I will be forever grateful for. Further to this we were supported by the family team at Dove House Hospice whose support has been so important and comforting.
We all love you so much Nicola Jayne Evans, we will always remember and love you my darling❤️
