About the Trek and Marie Curie

At 4,167m, our team will summit the highest peak in North Africa - Mount Toubkal - with its iconic triangular summit post!

We have decided to take on this challenge for Marie Curie, the UK’s leading end of life charity. Marie Curie supports people affected by any terminal illness, such as dementia (including Alzheimer’s), motor neurone disease, Parkinson’s, heart diseases and advanced cancer.

Having personally lost a family member earlier this year who had a terminal illness, I know how important this charity is to support everyone through this difficult journey.

Every five minutes someone in the UK dies without the care and support they need.

The average age that someone experiences their first bereavement is at 20 years old, meaning that for many people across the UK this may happen whilst at University. And with your help we can support them through it.
