Story

MARCH 25TH - WE HAVE BROKE THE £1000 BARRIER! Thank you to everyone that has donated - you all have double entries to the Michael van Gerwen Limited Edition darts draw on 13th April!

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Date: 12th April

Venue: The Carters Rest, Wroughton, Swindon.

World Record: Most points scored accumulatively over 12 hours. Just me and the board, no games of 501 - just pure power scoring for 12 hours.

Why am I doing this? I am raising money for a local hospice that is in the village of Wroughton - Prospect Hospice. It costs the hospice £8.5m to run each year and at the moment they are £1m short of where they need to be. A lot of people that I know have had loved ones spend their final days in the Hospice and I myself had a good friend and ex work colleague who also spent time there. I have been playing darts in Wroughton for over 20 years and having completed a 24 hour darts marathon with other members of different teams in the village back in 2008 and now I feel that the time is right to do another one. This time in setting a world record (no one has completed this one as of yet) I am hoping that it will bring more exposure to the Hospice and people can donate what they can to the cause. I will be holding a raffle throughout the day to also raise more funds as well.

Please donate what you can!
