Story

WE DID IT!!!

My brother Josh and I are raising money for Parkinson's, a disease which affects our Grandma, June.

To raise funds for Parkinson's Research, we are climbing Kilimanjaro in homage to our Grandpa, Kenneth, who was stationed next to the mountain during National Service post-WW2. He was Grandma's rock and when he passed away three years ago it really impacted the family, particularly June, accelerating the symptoms of Parkinson's.

It's a horrible disease that affects people of all ages, with no cure to date. Any contribution you make would be hugely appreciated and would go directly to research dedicated to finding a Parkinson's cure.

Note from Josh:

Toby and I started training last month, and this is only the largest free standing mountain in the world so can’t imagine it will pose many problems! I’ve been eating a lot of cookies so have reserves in case I get lost up there, but Toby will likely struggle, so please donate on his behalf!

Very much look forward to completing the mountain Grandpa nearly did and helping find a cure for the disease our Grandma suffers from. Wish us luck!!
