Dear Friends,

In the span of one week, I was invited to caringbridge.org TWO times, to follow fights against cancer.

My beloved cousin was hit with a stage 4 pancreatic cancer diagnosis, and a friend from college is battling brain cancer.

I am Stepping Up to raise funds for cancer research by supporting the Samuel Waxman Cancer Research Foundation, a leading international nonprofit that has been funding groundbreaking science for nearly 50 years.

On Saturday, June 22nd I will join NFL Hall of Famers, Harry Carson and Joe Klecko, and other football legends for a 3-mile run/walk at MetLife Stadium.

Over the last 20 years cancer mortality rates have decreased by 30 percent. Yet, sadly cancer remains a leading cause of death in the U.S. and around the world. In fact, it is estimated that more than 10 million people will die from cancer this year.
