2022! WHAT A YEAR FOR SUNAMGONJ, FLOOD, HOMESLESS, CROP FAILING AND WINTER APPRAOCHING, WOULD YOU HELP THE POOR

Floods from India’s north eastern state hit Sunamgonj and Sylhet leaving 2 million people forced to witness their homes submerged beneath the water caused by heavy floods earlier this year.

I am fundraising for 13 Rivers Trust for Winter Aid, for the poor and needy in Sunamgonj and greater Sylhet, Bangladesh.I am new to Sylhet Aid team and will be taking part in the Winter Aid 2022.

Our mission is to support people with rebuilding their homes after the recent flooding and provide aid to those in need.We will provide tin for emergency housing repair. We will provide mobility equipment to those with physical needs and enable them to lead a more active and independent life. 

With the winter fast approaching we will distribute winter blankets to the vulnerable and needy. We will also empower young women with sewing machines to help them become economically independent.

Please donate whatever you can, no amount too little.  As you all know giving consistently only increases ones wealth and Barakah.

Last winter year with your generous donations our team were able to deliver nearly £10,000 worth of aid! This included over 1,500 winter blankets, 34 sewing machines and 9 wheelchairs. This year we aim to offer more support to those in need.
