Help us raise vital funds for veterans and their families as the team take on a 15,000ft skydive on Armed Forces Day, 29th June 2024.

Story

This summer, The New Saints Women midfielders, Caitlin Chapman and Helen Evans will be swapping their football boots for a parachute, as they join forces with our partners, Approved Care and Support, to take part in a charity skydive to support Walking with the Wounded - the UK military charity providing support for veterans who need it the most.

Following a postponement, the skydive will now take place in Lancashire on Saturday, August 20th, and both Caitlin and Helen are asking for your support as they get set to make the leap from a staggering 15,000 ft!

Ahead of the skydive, Caitlin said: "It’s an amazing opportunity, which not many people can say they have done! I also didn’t need to think twice when I heard the charity was Walking with the Wounded, as it’s a charity so close to home with my dad still being in the military. I’m looking forward to it!"

Helen is equally excited to take part, saying: "I’m excited to join our new Women's team sponsor, Amanda and her team from Approved Care and Support in Oswestry, to take part in the skydive and raise funds for an amazing charity in Walking with the Wounded. I can’t wait to tick it off my bucket list!"

If you can, please consider making a donation, no matter how big or small, via the link below.

Many thanks,

Caitlin and Helen
