Story
This year, I am running the the RAF Coningsby Colour Run for the Royal Air Force Benevolent Fund.
People who have served in the RAF are trained to be self-reliant. They don't want to make a fuss and they don't want to be a burden. So all too often, when life gets tough, they suffer in silence.
The Royal Air Force Benevolent Fund don't believe anyone who has served their country should have to struggle through life.
They are there to support people who are serving or have served and their families, when they need it most. From counselling and financial support to adapting homes or replacing boilers, from the big challenges to the small changes, we can help people live with the dignity and independence they deserve.
For over 100 years, they've been supporting the whole of the RAF Family from the oldest veteran to the youngest child.
Together, we'll continue to be here for as long as they need us.
