Rory, Josh, Anthony and I are running the Cardiff Half Marathon in 2024 to support the Noah’s Ark Children’s Hospital Charity, a cause that means the world to me. My niece, Ava Grace, was diagnosed with MCADD (Medium-Chain Acyl-CoA Dehydrogenase Deficiency), and this journey led us to countless visits to the children’s hospital. The staff there showed us endless kindness and patience, working tirelessly to care for Ava and many other children like her.
The charity plays a crucial role in ensuring that treatment and outcomes for all children with all different medical conditions across South Wales. They fund innovative medical equipment and facilities, offer vital emotional support services, and provide for the much-loved play specialist team. Their work also invests in the future by training the next generation of brilliant clinicians and making the hospital a less intimidating place by bringing joy and comfort to young patients.
I’m incredibly grateful for your support as I take on this challenge. Your contributions will help other children like Ava receive the best possible care. Thank you so much for standing by me and supporting the Noah's Ark Children’s Hospital Charity!
