The bus project will allow sports alive to bring together three centres from Merseyside using the minibus daily, allowing our young people to become active and involved in programmes and sports education or training in our centre-based sessions.

Giving our detached youth workers greater opportunity in meeting hard-to-reach young people that may not be in a local hot spot or in their usual footprint to move their sessions to outreach.

Using the bus throughout the year (half term and summer holidays) gives a greater advantage for young people to use our other centres. Supporting the local community with transport issues with the option to use are growing hub in Fazakerley. Deciding to start our fundraising journey has allowed us to see different pathways, giving our team the confidence to explore different areas in the communities they may not have been able to reach before.

We believe in building stronger- safer- healthier communities for this and future generations.
