2025 is the year to conquer past demon's and finally run a marathon with purpose. Many of you know that Berlin was the first run that got away (injury) followed by a covid and life disrupted attempt at London (no training...and about 25kg heavier) and a not even bothering to toe the line Chicago...

So, the sexy side of 40, we're going again. Berlin baby...it's on, and to add a bit more melodrama; I'm running it with the support of Anthony Nolan. Many of you know the personal significance of AN and the work they've been doing with Stem Cells and Blood Cancer; I'm pleased to be able support these continued efforts by putting myself through the joy of months of training, tired legs, wet runs and the inevitable bake sale...

So do me a solid, help me reach this ambitious target and provide more blood cancer patients with the extra time they and their loved ones so richly deserve. I, for one, am extremely grateful for the advances in treatment around these cancers and the extra time it provided.

In addition to the Berlin spot, the kind folks at Anthony Nolan have offered up a spare London Marathon 2025 spot too! That's right, with roughly 70 days notice we'll be running that London course with all the smiles and waves so sorely missing from the first time round! It won't be fast, it probably won't be pretty, but it will get done in fun!
