Story

On Saturday 23rd March, I'm taking on the beautiful Coniston 14 road race - my first running event since I tore a muscle in my knee at the end of last year.

I'm raising money for the brilliant local charity CancerCare North Lancashire and South Cumbria. They give incredible support to people living with cancer and their families, including a range of therapies, counselling, group activities, and informal advice. During the COVID-19 pandemic, their volunteers delivered vital medications to vulnerable patients who were shielding at home.

Cancer affects every family and I know so many people in our area who are so grateful for the amazing support provided by CancerCare.
