Help Me Support Style Acre by Tackling The Ridgeway Challenge!
Hi everyone,
On May 31st, 2025, I’ll be taking on The Ridgeway Challenge – an 86-mile ultramarathon that promises to test every ounce of my endurance, determination, and grit. I’ve set myself this challenge not just for personal growth, but more importantly, to raise much-needed funds for the charity Style Acre.
Style Acre enhances the lives of people with learning disabilities and autism throughout Oxfordshire. They provide vital, person-centred support to over 270 people through supported living care, community day hubs, work programmes, and communication therapies. Their work helps so many individuals live fulfilling, independent lives, and their mission resonates deeply with me.
This cause is close to my heart because of my amazing daughter, Hollie. Hollie is 21 years old and was diagnosed with autism at the age of three. She has taught me so much about resilience, strength, and seeing the world through a unique and beautiful lens.
In the past, I was heavily involved in fundraising for autism charities, even completing an Iron Man race in 2016. However, life got busier as I focused on growing my business, and fundraising took a back seat. Now, in 2025, I’ve decided it’s time to give back once again.
This challenge is about stepping out of my comfort zone, pushing my limits, and making a difference for those who need it most. To help me through the 86 miles, I’m teaming up with my good friend Chris Brown. Together, we’re determined to cross the finish line and raise as much as we can for Style Acre.
Your support would mean the world, whether it’s through a donation or simply sharing this page with others who might want to contribute. Every penny raised will go towards helping Style Acre continue their incredible work.
Thank you so much for your generosity and encouragement – it’ll keep me going through every step of this journey!
Together, let’s make a difference.
Steve
