Story

Ovarian cancer can be too readily misdiagnosed and the vital opportunity to save a woman’s life may be lost. This charity strives to make the disease survivable for every woman – what an amazing thing to aim for and I’m proud to pedal away for 100 miles on my little old Brompton folding bicycle to support the cause in Nationwide's Tour de Cotswolds 2024 on 6 June!

Any donations will go completely to Ovarian Cancer Action and be used to support a research scientist for a year. I’m supporting Darren Johnson from our Payments function who has a personal connection in memory of Lisa Johnson, and his family is doing incredible things like waking 3000 miles to raise funds. Anything I might raise will be added to our collective donation page.

We are the UK’s leading ovarian cancer research charity. In the UK only 1 in 3 women live more than 10 years after diagnosis. We are working to better prevent, treat and detect ovarian cancer, so that by 2032 at least half of women with ovarian cancer live for 10 years.
