Story
Scott, Matt and I are taking part in the charity race in memory of my loving father, Denis Doherty. Denis sadly passed away from a Brain Tumour on the 12th November 2023 after living with the condition for several years. We are hoping to raise funds for future research and to support families dealing with this awful disease.
We are taking part in the London Ride 100 which is The centrepiece of the world’s greatest festival of cycling, the 100-mile challenge is one of the UK’s most famous challenge rides and gives riders a unique opportunity to cycle on traffic-free roads through some of the most famous streets of London and the picturesque villages and countryside of neighbouring Essex.
The Brain Tumour Charity is the world's leading brain tumour charity and the largest dedicated funder of research into brain tumours globally. Committed to saving and improving lives, we're moving further, faster to help every single person affected by a brain tumour.
We're set on finding new treatments, offering the highest level of support and driving urgent change. And we're doing it right now. Because we understand that when you, or someone you love, is diagnosed with a brain tumour a cure really can't wait.
