Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

2024 marks the 60th anniversary of LACE Housing Association, where I work. Myself and others are using this opportunity to raise money for other charities.

So on the 6th April 2024 I will be doing a tandem skydive 🪂 to raise money for a cause close to mine and my families heart, Parkinson’s UK.

My amazing Dad is living with Parkinson’s disease and we have seen firsthand the effect it can have on a persons life. I would love to raise some money to help fund Parkinson’s UK research, to kick Parkinson’s butt!!

Parkinson's is a degenerative neurological condition, for which there currently is no cure. By supporting Parkinson's UK this will help to fund vital research and support for people living with the condition.

The charity are the UK's leading charity supporting those with the condition. Its mission is to find a cure and improve life for everyone affected by Parkinson's through cutting edge research, information, support and campaigning.

Every hour, two people in the UK are told they have Parkinson's. It now affects 145,000 people in the UK.
