On Friday, 25th October, four of our Ticket Tailor team members — Maria, Jake, Regina, Donald, and Tom B—will be swapping their warm beds for sleeping bags in support of Hackney Night Shelter’s Sleep Out.

Hackney Night Shelter has been providing emergency accommodation and support to people experiencing homelessness in our community since 1996. They run two independent shelters in Hackney (where the Ticket Tailor office is based). As a local business, we’re proud to back this incredible charity. Community fundraising events like this are essential to keep their doors open 365 nights a year, relying on people power and local grants to continue their vital work.

We know that one night of sleeping out won’t replicate what it’s really like to face homelessness, but it’s a chance for us to raise awareness and funds to help keep the Shelter’s doors open all year round. Every penny donated will go towards giving people in our neighbourhood a safe place to sleep and the support they need to find a lasting route out of homelessness.
