Threads of Hope Project

I’m happy to announce that Alhiba.Co is officially an ambassador for Aid 4 Ummah, a charity doing life-changing work in West Africa
At first, I asked myself, "Why these countries?" But after diving deeper, the answer became clear.
In these regions, people struggle to find even dirty water to drink – let alone a single drop of clean water. Many are left without even basic clothing, fighting to survive in unimaginable conditions. My heart was pulled and I knew this would be a project I’d hold deeply to my heart.
After talking with the team at Aid 4 Ummah, we came up with the ‘Threads of Hope Project’ – a sustainable project aimed at empowering women.
In’Sha’Allah, we’ll be offering women in Sierra Leone the chance to enrol in a one-year tailoring course. Upon completion, we’ll personally travel there to gift them the tools they need to start their own businesses and build a future for themselves.
This project is deeply personal for me. As the owner of Alhiba.Co and someone who started my own business at 14, I understand the power of having the right support. Helping women stand on their own, especially in a place where people don’t even have clothes to wear, feels like the best gift we collectively can give. Hiba means "gift" in Arabic, and this is truly a gift of dignity, self-reliance, and hope.
Here are a few words from Brother Ahmed:
“We are thrilled to announce Aid 4 Ummah and Alhiba.Co are joining forces to make a positive difference to the less fortunate in West Africa. Together, we’ll be working on a tailoring project in Sierra Leone – empowering people to start their own businesses and prosper in life – a similar story to the founder of Alhiba.co The beneficiaries will enrol on a 1 year Tailoring Course. Once they have passed, Aid 4 Ummah & Alhiba.Co will travel to distribute the tools needed for the beneficiary to start their businesses”
