Story
This weekend, the Thompson's are strapping on their trainers, brushing off their beards and taking part in the Stamford Santa Dash to raise money for Head to Toe and our local mental health and community NHS services.
We're fundraising as a family, because mental health care is something that is so important to us. We want to make sure our amazing NHS staff have everything they need to give local people with serious health challenges the care they deserve.
We are watching our local NHS workers give more and more of themselves to people who are increasingly unwell. With less and less resources available to help, NHS charities like Head to Toe are becoming a vital piece of the care someone with serious physical or mental health problems needs, to support them in getting, and staying well.
We know it's a lot to ask, especially at Christmas, but any donation you can give to our fundraising would be an amazing gift to someone in the depths of their illness. And, it will help give some support to the NHS teams that really do go above and beyond, in giving people the very best treatment they can.
Small things really do make an incredible difference. Whether it's a Christmas present for someone who is vulnerable and isolated, who only sees their community nurse over the holidays; or a pack of clean pyjamas and toiletries, that provides someone with dignity, when they're admitted to hospital in a crisis; you will be providing critical support for someone navigating the hardest moments of their lives.
Thank you,
Hannah, Curt and Archer x
