On 14 September 2024, 10 members of the Yarty Haematology team are taking on the 30km route of the Dartmoor in a Day challenge. The team will be trekking from Postbridge to Ivybridge across the moor to raise money for the Exeter Leukaemia Fund (ELF).

ELF's services include transport to and from appointments (vital for those in rural communities), counselling for patients and their loved ones, therapy treatments, and financial grants for patients whose income has been impacted by a blood cancer diagnosis. They also fund equipment and furnishings for the ward and provide Fellowships for the NHS team to expand their training and research in the field of haematology.
