We’re raising donations for the Natasha Allergy Research Foundation in memory of Órla

London Landmarks Half Marathon 2025 · 6 April 2025 ·
We are running the London Landmarks Half Marathon this year in memory of Órla.
Órla Baxendale was just 25 years old when she died from anaphylaxis on 11 January 2024, after eating a cookie which did not say it contained peanuts.
Órla was an incredibly talented professional dancer who grew up in Lancashire but moved to New York to pursue her dreams. She was gifted, vibrant, beautiful, funny and kind. The truth is we all miss her so much.
Órla lived with severe allergies for her whole life which she managed with precision and diligence. Her totally avoidable passing has shown that there is a long way to go in terms of raising awareness about allergies and stopping these tragedies from occurring.
Órla’s dad, Simon, and I are proud to be running the London Landmarks Half Marathon 2025 for The Natasha Allergy Research Foundation. Through campaigning, education and research, the charity’s mission is to #MakeAllergyHistory. Starting with food allergy, they want to create a world that is safe for everyone. We would be so grateful for any donations to our fundraising page as this is a cause close to our family’s heart and we want to support their vital work in memory of Órla.
Thank you for your support!
