I LOVE NDI!

Thomas won an NDI scholarship this year and it's been an incredible experience for him. If you can, please consider donating to keep this incredible, privately funded non-profit art education program going!

A message from Thomas:
The first time I came to NDI, I thought I was going to be bored out of my mind. Then I saw kids sitting in a circle, playing a hand clap game called “Quacka Dilly Oso.” I sat on the opposite side of the stage at first, but as I watched them play, I got more and more interested and started scooching over slowly. Then after the round was over, I asked if I could join and they said, “Sure, why not!”
From then on, I felt I was welcome into the group. That first day, I felt really happy. I felt like I was off to a good start. Since then, I come early every week to meet the kids and play with them before we dance together.
When I dance at NDI, I focus only on learning the dance and not the things that worry me. Dance helps me calm down when I am upset. Moving my body really changes my emotions in a positive way. I also made my first real friend from my school at NDI. The time together at NDI helped us communicate with each other better and NDI became even more fun.
Can you please donate to NDI to help keep this awesome program going to help even more kids.
Love,
Thomas
