Story
I am 8 years old and since being diagnosed with ASD in February 23 I have been looking for a charity to raise money for whilst also trying to promote acceptance and understanding of autism.
My hope is to raise enough money to provide a years worth of puppy training (£1,000) as every dog that completes their training will make a dramatic improvement in the lives of the person with autism and their whole family unit.
It costs in excess of £20,000 to train and support each dog, and the charity relies entirely on donations.
So since the start of June I have taken on the challenge to take 1,000,000 small steps to raise funds to help out where I can and when I reach my target I will keep going until I raise enough to buy someone a dog.
We are really grateful for any help you may feel able to provide. Every pound counts, and please don't forget Gift Aid as that gets an extra 25p for every pound but it does not cost you any extra.
Thank you.
