Story

Support the Pink Group in the Titty Trail: A Fundraising Walk for Breast Cancer!

The Titty Trail, an 11-mile walk from Watford General to St Albans City Hospital on Sunday 3 Nov 2024.

The Pink Group consists of the Breast Care Unit Staff who will walk at the Charity Walk. Think Pink aims to do our part in raising £10,000 to help raise vital funds for this life-saving equipment.

If successful, the Charity will fund two Savi Scout Surgical Guidance Systems for the breast unit at St Albans City Hospital. This incredible technology uses radar to precisely target and remove cancerous tissue, reducing unnecessary removal of healthy tissue, shortening hospital stays, and lowering the need for repeat surgeries. It will revolutionise breast cancer treatment for patients in West Herts.
