Dear Friends and Family,

Many of you may know I am a diehard Bison. I owe so much of who I am to my experience at my beloved Howard University. The culture, education, friendship, challenges made me strong and proud. Receiving my BS Electrical Engineering gave me a sense that I could achieve anything. EE is no joke. My last year at Howard was a struggle financially and academically. I did graduate on the Dean's list but I went through my Senior year struggling to graduate. It was the last few weeks before graduation where things finally came together. One of my many blessings was a financial gift from the HU Dayton Alumni Association that truly was a direct reason for me being able to graduate. I made a promise to give back since then.

I have chaired the Back to the Mecca Bus Trip for over nine years, Charter Day fundraising, Chair Recruitment and Retention just to name a few. I now find myself again as the Co-Chair of the Share Your Story Scholarship Fundraiser Too. The 2021 Fundraiser I chaired was the highest grossing fundraiser of all Howard alumni clubs. This campaign is close to my heart. Please see some of the testimonials on this site of current students and Donate.
