Parkrun 2024 · 31 December 2024 ·

We protect local wildlife to provide a wilder future for everyone.

Story

In 1962, a group of individuals came together with a shared vision - to protect and preserve the natural world that we all cherish. Their passion and dedication led to the formation of The Lancashire Wildlife Trust, which has since become the largest nature conservation body in the area. Over the years, they have acquired and managed over 1,288 hectares of precious land, creating havens for rare and threatened species. Their work is a testament to what can be achieved when people unite for a common cause. However, their mission is far from over. They need your support to ensure that their efforts continue to thrive and that they can keep fighting for the survival of our planet's diverse ecosystems.

We are thrilled to announce our participation in Parkrun 2024, a marathon event scheduled for November 16th 2024. This presents an incredible opportunity for us to come together as a community of veterinary professionals and raise funds for The Wildlife Trust for Lancashire, Manchester and North Merseyside.

Our goal is to raise £1,000 in support of our ongoing conservation initiatives. Your contribution will make a meaningful impact on the future of our natural world.

Join us in this inspiring journey towards safeguarding our planet's biodiversity. Together, we can make a difference.
