Story

The Watches of Switzerland Group is the proud 2025 headline partner of The King’s Trust (formerly known as The Prince's Trust) 2025 Change a Girl’s Life campaign.

When it comes to supporting young women to succeed, we can achieve more together than we can on our own. That’s why the Change a Girls Life campaign harnesses the collective power of business to drive real change.

In the UK today, over a million young people aged 16-24 are not in education, work or training. For too many this causes feelings of isolation, poor mental health and a loss of confidence. For some, they face practical challenges of poverty and a lack of opportunity.

The situation is often worse for young women. The King’s Trust research shows that young women are more likely than young men to feel hopeless about their futures. Many also fear that they will never be financially secure due to the cost-of-living crisis. Even if they are in work, caring for someone or paying for childcare means many are forced to give up their jobs, or slow down their careers.

The King's Trust have helped over 3,000 young women over the past five years through Change a Girl's Life, with 79% going on to further education, training, or work.

The King’s Trust supports 11 to 30 year-olds who are unemployed or struggling at school to get their lives on track. Many of the young people we support are in or leaving care, have been in trouble with the law, or they are facing challenges such as homelessness or mental health issues.
